ABOUT JOHN COURTE
PRESIDENT, COURTECHNOLOGY INC.
John is a project management professional with extensive years in industrial, automation and information technology projects. He is a passionate project manager who has built trust with stakeholders, clients and colleagues. John also has broad experience in project controls, project management, leadership and business development in consulting, Engineering-Procurement-Project Management (EPPM) and vendor environments. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a certified project manager from the Project Management Institute. He is continuing his education with an MBA at the Edinburgh Business School with expected graduation 2016/17.
He is organized, passionate and goal-oriented. John understands what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change. Working well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments, John can shift readily between the 'big picture' and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each.
John has had the responsibility of planning, executing and closing assigned projects. Key project management responsibilities have included creating clear and attainable project objectives, building project requirements, and managing constraints of the project management triangle: cost, time, scope, and quality.
